Air Arabia Maroc will resume services to Tunis from Casablanca as of March 31st 2019 starting with 3 flights a week (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday).
The company’s sales director, Nabil Bouaouch, has visited Tunis with the aim of finalizing preparations with his local representative, ATACS led by Mounir Arous.
The business model of the company is based on low fare. “Passengers do not have to buy meals & luggage on board,” said the head of Air Arabia Morocco. As for the menus, the most expensive costs 6 €, sandwich and chawarma will be offered between 2 & 5 €.
But it is especially on the attractiveness of prices that the company intends to stand out. One way is expected to be 250 dinars.
For Tunisian travel agencies, they will be able to offer their customers all flights of the Air Arabia network through a booking platform of its own or via the traditional BSP.
Air Arabia Maroc points out that from its hub in Casablanca, it also offers 14 domestic flights. “All our flights are direct and non-stop,” says Bouaouch. “We operate with a fleet of 10 Airbus A.320s with an average age of 3 years and a capacity of 174 seats, which offers better comfort conditions than other low cost passengers who put 188 passengers on this same aircraft type”.
